"A phenomenon similar to derailment of thought or loosening of associations, is characterized by odd, tangential associations between ideas that lead to disruptions." The music within this release displays these characteristics, known as Knights Move Thinking. Sparse drums collide with edits and bass deployments whilst elsewhere beautiful piano keys dance with twitching rhythms across firing synapses. Mr Minimax deftly flirts with techno, electronica and dubstep and makes it seem like... Topics: Mr Minimax, Myuzyk, netlabel
Northern Borders sounds like it was sent to us from a timeslip in the nineties, gliding ambient arrangements and warm enveloping electronics with an urbane character fill the air. Crunchy percussion, delicate pads and strings are in equal measure throughout weaving heartfelt moments and memories into an accomplished album. The title track borrows the sample made infamous by Orbital - "Even a stopped clock gives the right time twice a day", and nods at a golden era of electronic music.... Somehow these six tracks were leftover from The People's Republic album period and until now have been unreleased. They have been freshly mixed down and mastered and can be yours to listen to at the cost of a few clicks. Addictive rhythms from darkened rooms and cinematic moods move through the air with honed textures and crafted sounds. Mainly downtempo with a twist of techno, this is set to be the only original material from Posthuman before their forthcoming albums during winter 08/09. It goes without saying that Delia Derbyshire is a key figure in the development of experimental electronic music and is remembered for her creative use of new technologies within the realms of sound. The third release is an archive of music offering a cross section of work from ZLK that was created in Noxgenus Studios between 1998 and the present. The title track is beatless and soothingly ambient and it contrasts the trance mix which is uplifting and anthemic. 'Dynachord' is reminiscent of an era of techno built from uncompromising beats that soundtracked many a dark club night or party before it was all about haircuts and the brand of your clothing. Dubby electronics are explored within... Topics: Zwart Licht Kommando, electro, techno, ambient, electronica, netlabel, Myuzyk, mp3
Left of centre rhythms and the sound of music coming undone is the thread that runs through this release. The opener, 'How Did This Century Begin?', cuts through a sea of interference with oddball rhythms. 'Our Own World' appears as galloping beats being ridden by gentle synth tones. 'Solar Seas' features back-forward elements pushing and pulling each other into a writhing mass of strange. The closing scene is 'The Intertaction' which is the kind of music that wouldn't be out of place in a... Topics: Buben, Primogeniture, Myuzyk, 320kbs, mp3, FLAC, leftfield, downtempo, lounge.

Myuzyk proudly presents the first release which is an album of engaging ambience and edited field recordings. The 1981 collection is specifically inspired from time spent by SCKE// in southern Spain as a child. The album is a documentation of audio memories, a sound diary that has been created years later. âReally for me SCKE// is becoming about interacting with my environment, the real emotions and upliftment that comes when you step out onto the street and wrap your coat around you at the... Falls & Regis have been in bands with each other for the best part of 20 years. They met at school and became firm friends after recognising in each other a deep desire to fuck-about and have as little as possible to do with the real world, being grown up or responsible. After a lot of sitting around, the pair relocated to London and hooked-up for what has become a labour of love, a sprawling musical magpie that steals a lot and shits on the rest, Falls & Regis. For the last few years... Topics: Falls & Regis, Done Up Like A Vicar, Myuzyk, netlabel
From their beginnings of creating home recordings as children and self released material on Music70 onto releases through Skam to their hugely successful albums on Warp the Sandison brothers have gained cult status and a global following. Their inclusion of samples of religious cults, nods towards nature, geometry and mathematics in their music and track titles have added fuel to the hearsay and speculation amongst theorists and fans. For the second Inspired By album various recording artists... favoritefavoritefavorite ( 2 reviews ) Topics: Boards Of Canada, tribute, netlabel, mp3, FLAC, Myuzyk
Decades of aerosol manipultion has put Remi/Rough well and truly in the global picture. In recent years he has ploughed precious time into the discipline of creating beats and remixing established artists. Aside from his dedicated role in the band Reptiles and working alongside luminaries such as Mike Ladd, Charlie Dark and Yarah Bravo it has now come to pass that as Remdog a personalised sound is now on the table. Unofficial remixes of The Kills and Buck 65 have received praise from bloggers... Topics: Remdog, Show In Your Rear View EP, MZYKN006, Myuzyk Netlabel, free
The title track combines white hot percussion and warm bass and the sound of a lost broadcast fed through the grinder. Remdog takes the elements into some distopian urban scene. Posthuman reconstructed the genetics of Sil-X as tech laden journey into modern bleep house with impressive results in their 'Varuna' remix. Sheffield's multitalented Bio Static Systems has is his own words "gone all Modeselektor", and it certainly has traits of their older music and live shows amongst the BSS...
